Designed by Jasper Morrison in 2009, the Smithfield pendant light from Italian brand Flos stands out for its direct illumination and its clean, timeless design with industrial elements. The lighting body is made of aluminium and is available in elegant shades - gloss black, matte black, white, red, green or neutral MUD (grey-beige). Inside, there is a socket for an E27 base light source, allowing you to choose the bulb of your preference. The opal methacrylate diffuser, made by injection moulding technology, evenly diffuses the light and eliminates glare. The luminaire is suspended from a steel cable system and a 2700 mm long transparent double insulated electric cable. The design draws inspiration from traditional industrial lighting, but also brings a modern expression suitable for a variety of interiors.

Industrial inspiration with a modern twist

The Smithfield pendant light from Italian brand Flos, designed by Jasper Morrison, draws inspiration from industrial lighting, but thanks to clean lines and quality materials it takes on a timeless look. Morrison, known for his minimalist approach, combines functionality with aesthetics here - the aluminium body and opal methacrylate diffuser ensure even, glare-free illumination, while the steel wire and transparent cable give the luminaire an industrial flair.

Universal design for different interiors

The Smithfield luminaire is available in six colours, from classic white and black to bold red or green, making it easy to incorporate into a variety of interior styles. With a standard E27 base, users can choose any bulb they prefer, whether they prefer warm or cool light. In addition, with a cable length of 2700 mm, light can be adapted to different ceiling heights, whether in the kitchen, above the dining table or in the office.
